Sub-Aqua Products MARINOX Oxygen Therapy Boat Unit.
The MARINOX system is the culmination of extensive research and development of a rugged and highly efficient containerised oxygen therapy system. Designed primarily for divers & marine rescue situations the system lends itself equally well in any harsh environment. Therapy is administered without the necessity of removing the cylinder and regulator from its protective housing thereby ensuring the working Integrity Irrespective of the situation.
The MARINOX Demand Valve Designed for use with a face mask or mouthpiece the MARINOX demand valve is the heart of the system. It is compact, lighter than any competitive product and ergonomically designed to ensure that the patient does not block the exhale ports when holding the demand valve. The most important feature of the demand valve is its performance figures in use. These features are achieved by the patented servo assisted primary valve which gives unrivalled performance uncompromised by the compact nature of the unit. The MARINOX will actually deliver 300 litres per mm, as required by the British standard and is at an inspiratory resistance of one third of that required by the standard. The inhalation resistance required to operate the demand valve at lower flow rates is also very low. The MARINOX demand valve therefore puts minimal physiological loading on the patient receiving oxygen therapy. The ultra low resistance of the MARINOX demand valve makes operator override unnecessary and whilst the unit does incorporate a test/vent button this is purely for checking the unit prior to applying therapy or venting the system on completion. Weight: 7.5 kg Dimensions: 16 cm diameter 65 cm. length	The MARINOX Regulator Considerable efforts have been made to produce a dedicated regulator of high performance and lightweight proportions. The MARINOX pin index regulator is lighter than any other unit on the market and up to two thirds lighter than some of its current rivals. The MARINOX Therapy Outlet A single therapy outlet with full flow facility is fitted as standard and includes a 10 ltr per mm quick connect probe for oxygen supply via a 2 mtr tube assy & Therapy Pocket mask with E.A.V. valve. An additional demand valve, available as an extra, may be alternatively coupled to the therapy outlet in lieu of the pocket mask enabling 100% oxygen therapy for 2 patients. (Additional outlets to order). The MARINOX Cylinder 540 litre Aluminium cylinder fitted with pin index pillar valve. Working pressure 200 bar. (B.O.C. approved) The MARINOX Stowage Unit Heavy duty, impact resistant conveniently stowed screw top container. Pressure protected by relief diaphragm. Positively buoyant. Can be mounted with quick release bulkhead mounting bands. Alternatively can be mounted in bottle racks. Readily transported with carrying handle. Totally watertight.
